In my 400D, red focus indicater in view finder not flashing when I shoot manually even if it is in focus. Why?
In autofocus mode there is no problem.I am using the central focus point ,when shooting manually. When I look through the view finder, the green round indicater too is Not Working when I shoot in manual mode. Any suggestions?
it just means that your object isn't in focus according to the camera's sensors. thus, usually why you are shooting in manual mode. if you rotate your lense to get the object into focus according to the camera sensors both the red focus light, and green dot will illuminate. Go ahead and try that out. use a pop can, easy to get that in focus. most of the time in manual mode the red and green lights don't have to light up to get a nice pic, i just use it as a double reassurance that my pic is good. Nothing to worry about, your Camera Just doesn't see what you see, thats all.
