For the Calumet Air shutter release do you have to have a special adapter for my type of cameras?
I have the Canon Rebel 2000 Film Camera and the Canon Powershot s5 Digital Camera and i cant find anywhere to plug in the air shutter release...I got it from Calumet...does anyone know if i need a special adapter? It didnt say on the website that it was not compatible with my camera?
The shutter release on a camera must have a place to screw in a Cable Release. Most, but not all 35 mm cameras have such a place on the shutter release. Some now ever only can use electronic Remote Shutter releases, either plug in or wireless.
Look at your camera and see if there is a female screw for a cable release in the center of the shutter release. If not, an air shutter release will not work.
The Rebel 2000 has a $40 cable release adapter T3, but I doubt that any P&S camera has one.
