what is Konica Minolta Maxxum 5d & DSLR?
they R in: Sony's DSLR-A100....? I read it takes up to 3 frames per second continuously...what does that mean??! what does Self Timer mean?

* 3 frames per second means that it can take 3 pictures every second (there is no need to advance film, of course)
* Self timer means that you can make it wait a few seconds before taking the picture (for example, so that you Can Set it up and jump in the picture yourself)
If you're in the market for an entry level digital SLR - the cameras you mentioned are $700 to 900 - I can highly recommend the Canon Rebel XT, the Nikon D50 and the Nikon D70s. You can use the website I gave you for full reviews of those models, too.
