Can I charge this Fuji camera in Europe?
I am not bringing a converter with me, only the adaptor for the plug itself. Can I use this camera in europe without it blowing up on me?
Yes, you can. Most camera chargers support both US and European voltages - the label will say something like 100 - 240 Vac 50/60 Hz. In this case, you only need the plug adaptor and not a voltage converter. I've lived in Italy for the past ten years and have several cameras and laptops purchased in the US which only require a plug adaptor to work. The instructions for use for at least two of my cameras (Sony) specifically say not to use the charger with a voltage converter to avoid damage.
