How do i fade out the sound of my music at the end of my film using Sony vegas 8.0?
BTW Im not using a sound clip from vegas. Im using an actual song that i have.
Every sound clip in Vegas has a fader as a basic part of the clip. When you hover over the end of a clip, you will see one of two cursors.. one that indicates you're over the edge control of the clip (move that edge either way, to truncate/extend/loop the clip), and one that indicates you're over the fader control.
You'll also notice that when you overlap two clips, they automatically crossfade by default.
For any fade in or out, you can select the type of fade (linear, exponential, others), for video or audio. Video fades can also use an visual effect rather than a straight fader.
