im bying a nikon d80 shud i buy the VR lenses on ebay or would i be fine using the old AF lenses from my d50?
they are the ones that only say AF on the bottom of the lense. are these compatable? or should i save up more for the VR lenses? are they worth the extra hundred dollars?
Save up money, and purchase a 55-200mm Nikkor VR lens.
I have the D90 and the previous (D60) and I must admit that the 55-200mm VR lens is a must need when getting into 'entry-level' photography. I wouldn't recommend using the AF lens at all times, use other lens; I purchased my 55-200mm on Ebay not to long ago after buying my FishEye (Wide Angle) lens. Either or, you should save money and purchase another lens trust me. It's always nice to get comfortable with more then one lens.
