printer problems?
Ihave a canon mp600 printer which is telling me there is no paper in the tray or autoload. The paper iam trying to use is ICEprofessional inkjet photo Paper Matte 140gsm
A4 size. There seeems to be a very fine dust coming of one side of the paper. When i go back to using my standard paper it seems to take a bit of time for it to except this again. Iam using this paper to make booklet covers for cd cases .
From my experience with Canon printers (and I have had a few) they do not like this 140gsm paper/card.
First, try dropping down to about 100gsm (or 120)
If not, look inside the printer (although it is a long time since I owned a Canon, so I am not 100% sure) there may be a small lever on one side which allows you to adjust the roller/feed height. Try a small adjustment to the lever to see if it corrects the feed.
