Why is my camera turning red into pinky red?
i have a Fujifilm Finepix z10fd Digital Camera and i have a red car. The car is a darker ferrari red.
When i take a picture of it with my finepix camera, it makes most red objects turn into a pinky red.
What do i need to adjust?
If you check out the camera menu you will find a function called "white balance" this determines the temperature of of the photo IE; how the colours will show in the final product. The best way to compensate is to use a grey card and customise the white balance or try different settings, daylight, cloudy, shade etc. till you get the result you want. To customise you need a neutral grey card ( available at camera stores) place the card against the subject to be photographed and take a photo of it, then set the camera to that white balance, then take the photo. Refer to your manual for instructions on how to do this.
