Digital Camera Maintenance: Keeping Your Digital Camera in Shape
It is not enough that you buy a durable and sturdy digital camera from Apple stores. To ensure long life, you must be able to observe proper digital camera maintenance. Keep your digital camera in shape and be able to use it over and over again by following these simple guidelines on digital camera maintenance.
1. Before and after taking shots, make it a habit to ensure that your Camera Lens is clean and fingerprint-free. The last thing you would want is a set of pictures that do not come out as clear as they should be because your camera lens is not clean. Therefore, when cleaning the lens of your digital camera, use only alcohol solutions that are especially made for camera optics. To get rid of dust particles, use a blower brush in cleaning the front and rear area of the lens.
2. When wiping off dust or prints from the lens and other essential parts of your digital camera, use a very fine and soft tissue so as not to create a scratch.
3. For areas in your camera where dirt tends to build up over time, use a blower brush with very fine bristles to take the dirt off. Make sure to clean the brush every so often.
4. Invest is a durable protective camera case where you can keep the unit when it’s not in use. A Great Camera case must come with padded sides that would protect your camera from scratches, shocks, and occasional knocks.
5. Only use the right battery or batteries for your digital camera. Using batteries that are not compatible with your unit will cause it not to function or worse, might totally damage it.
6. When recharging the batteries of your camera, do not overcharge them as this might cause leak. Moreover, remove the batteries from your camera when you are not using the unit.
7. Avoid deleting pictures from your digital Camera Memory one by one. Instead, delete batch pictures after uploading them to your computer. This way, you wouldn’t have to manually press the buttons of your camera over and over again.
