How to put in film in a Asahi SPII Pentax Camera?
I just got this camera at an antique garage sale, and bought the film, but how do I place it in? I can't find any websites explaining how to do so? Can anyone help? Thx!
Here is the manual. http://www.butkus.org/chinon/pentax/pentax_spotmatic_ii/pentax_spotmatic_ii.htm In addition to the first answer, I would like to add that you should make the photos leading up to the first one totally black. Put the shutter speed to maximum and the aperture to minimum (F/16), then point the lens into a dark corner. Or, if you have the Lens Cap, just put that on while working up to the 1 on your counter. Also make sure you set the speed of your film. The manual explains all.
Uh oh, it takes mercury batteries. Those aren't made any more. So look here for a solution - http://www.smallbattery.company.org.uk/sbc_mrb400.htm
