At one time not long ago I had to do was look through the lens of the camera and touch a button to take a photograph. But with the technology of today are cameras have become more complicated. The advertising dollars that are spent by your camera companies are being spent to tell you just how simple and easy it is to operate the camera. One thing for sure the digital age has become much easier to load the film into the camera if your camera even uses film.

But with today’s technology you cannot just pick up your camera point and shoot and expect to get good quality pictures. There are warning lights in the viewfinder that tell you to change your angle or your exposure just to name a few.

So what are our future cameras going to be like. Will it take a college degree or would you have to be a rocket scientist to operate them. Probably not, camera manufacturers know that they must get good sale and a good sales are in the masses not in a few. You know there will be more of us without a college education and that are not rocket scientists to figure out how to operate these cameras. So the masses will be on our side and a rocket scientist will have to fend for themselves.

As you have noticed our technology today in digital cameras is designed to be operated by the masses. The manufacturers have made the operation of these new digital cameras simple and easy to understand. They have designed the cameras to automatically adjust to different kinds of lighting that made it so that if you shake a little bit your picture won’t be blurred. And yes most cameras now come with auto flash which means you don’t have to turn on the flash to take a picture in lowlight.

The manufacturers and even designed the camera that can talk to you and tell you if you’re low on film or you don’t have enough light to take the picture.

Along with our technology are cameras have come to give a more clear and bright vivid picture. With the new digital cameras picture is processed within the camera and stored on a digital memory card. These new cameras also can take still pictures as well as short movie videos.

With the new digital memory cards you can download your pictures or videos to your computer or laptop in just seconds. This technology has brought us to the point that by using our computers and our computer printers we can process our own pictures and never have to wait for the store or Photoshop to develop our pictures.

So what will the future bring in 5, 10, or even 20 years from now. With what we have today the progress we have seen in the past years I cannot begin to imagine what a camera will do in the next 10 years.
